After Sep 1st, 2020, the limit on Community Edition usage will be changed from an application (API key) to a per-account basis.
Our thoughts on the Community Edition
SkyWay's mission is to innovate with software engineers around the world by making real-time communication an accessible technology.
That's why SkyWay has been providing a free Community Edition with a high capacity to the developer community, new service launches at start-ups and PoC development at enterprises. However, some customers have been using it in ways we did not intend. We have decided to make this change so that we can continue to provide this free service to our customers.
Details of the changes
The total usage of all the applications (API keys) created for that account is If you exceed the limit, restrictions will be applied to each function. Please refer to the following table for details. If you are close to your usage limit, you will be notified by email to your registered email address Please be sure to check the details as we will send it to you. Restricted features will be removed on the 1st of the following month.

- Limitation Example 1
If the total connection count exceeds 500,000, you will no longer be able to use SkyWay for that month. - Limitation Example 2
If the TURN server usage exceeds 500 GB, you will not be able to use the TURN server for that month, but P2P communication without using the TURN server and communication using the SFU server will be possible.
Inquiries for changes
If you would like to migrate to Enterprise Edition, please contact us via the contact form. The restriction will be lifted for a period of time during the maigration to Enterprise Edition. Please be sure to provide your Community Edition registered email address and API key when contacting us.
