Revise this announcement because MeshRoom was not affected.
Android SDK v2.0.4 and iOS SDK v3.0.1 was added the feature trying to reconnect automatically if WebRTC communication in a temporary disconnected state".
Due to this change, the close event on the other side is delayed several tens of seconds when media connection is explicitly disconnected. DataConnection, SFURoom and MeshRoom are not affected.
We are adding a function to disable automatic reconnection and will release it in Android SDK v2.1.1 and iOS SDK v3.1.1 in a few days.
The case of using Android SDK v2.0.3 or earlier, iOS SDK v3.0.0 or earlier with Android SDK v2.0.4 or later, iOS SDK v3.0.1 or later.
Avoid updating your SDKs until the function to disable automatic reconnection is released. By using this function released in the new versions, this problem would be resolved.
The case of using Android SDK v2.0.4 or iOS SDK v3.0.1
If you would like to resolve this problem, downgrade to a previous version or update to v2.1.0 or v3.1.0 and use the forceClose function.
